My Process

I arrive an hour before your guests! I set up my area and start snapping photos of your family that is already there and any available bridal party. Once your guests start arriving, I will be already set up and painting!

Your guests approach my table, and I’ll take a quick photo of them and gather some information. They can then go and enjoy their evening celebrating your special day! I will paint throughout the entire event and post the painted illustrations on the display board when ready for pick up! They will each be wrapped in a protective cellophane for your guests to bring them home!

It takes me about 10 minutes to paint each couple. This does not include gathering information and the photo from your guests. Therefore, the number of illustrations I can get done in an hour does vary! It starts very small as I get most of your guests upon arrival and ramps up to full speed once everyone is seated for dinner!

Depending on the length of your event, I can get anywhere from 45 to 75 illustrations done during the event. However, my job doesn’t stop there! I take all of the remaining photos of your guest’s home and complete them within three weeks of the event! This ensures no one at your event is left out!

The happy couple also receive their own illustration after the event as well as a final thank you from me!

Please keep this in mind when choosing the right package size for your event:

Some of your guests will be unable to make it last minutes, and unfortunately some will simply choose not to participate. I generally tell my clients to go with about 75% of their final list. Including all family and bridal party of course!
However, ultimately, you know your guests best so do what you feel is best for your big day!

How big is your guest list?

Guests are only painted one time.
Two guests per illustration. This does not apply to young children.
However, guests will be able to purchase more portraits if they desire. These will be painted after the event and mailed separately to that paying party.
